A Dirty Little Secret …
We have a special appliance in our house. A special appliance that really helps relieve stress. We use it in the mornings as well as the evenings. It really helps us relax. We’ve heard it refered to by a number of different sexy names, including Hotpoint, and Equator. We hear they even come in designer colours! But ours is a very simple model, and we refer to it simply as our “marital aid.”
Yep. We love having a dishwasher.
I love this! Four years after my mate purchased our dishwasher, I still am inspired to say, “Thank you for the dishwasher,” on a regular basis. We have actively referred to it as a major contributor to the success of our relationship. Nice to know we’re not alone in our weirdness.
I really lucked out on two fronts… first, I get snazzy discounts on GE appliances, since I work for one of the several companies they’ve absorbed… but second, and this was perhaps the best of the two, my partner’s mom bought it for us for Christmas.
I can’t think of how we used to live without it!
