Cool with occasional showers. Rick opened up a larger section of pasture and reconfigured the gates in the barn for easier feeding. A beautiful day. 86°F/62°F

After their first night the llamas were hungry for grain this morning. Guinness is humming a bit, though Don says this will cease as he adjusts. A light mid-morning rain seemed to have no effect on them. Rain showers throughout the day. 73°F/60°F

Llamas Kuzco and Guinness arrived today!  We practiced entering the barn, walking on halter and taking the halter off.  They’re settling in well. 91°F/53°F

George White & Co. arrived along with Gordon Benson, the electrician. Went over electrical plan for the garage/apartment and Gordie finished the electrical installation in the barn. George’s crew helped move stall mats into the barn; we need two more. 79°F/50°F

Much better weather today – cooler and overcast. Confirmed with Don that llamas will arrive Saturday. 83°F/53°F

Picked up a few final farm supplies. Found out White’s carries llama pellets. Hot. 96°F/62°F

No progress on projects today. Foggy in the morning; very hot afternoon 96°F/57°F.

Garage crew finished the rafters and added the beams that span the living/dining room.  Sunny and  clear. 89°F/48°F

Garage now has roof rafters, and windows were delivered. Poll barn has a gravel floor. More afternoon storms. 83°F/53°F

Work on the sheep shelter and electric fence began today. Bob Osgood was able to pull some more stumps out near the barn site, creating better tractor access. Muggy during the day; afternoon and evening storms with heavy rain. 80°F/57°F
