7 March 2009 – Sheep Deworming

Because the smaller sheep were so skinny we decided to deworm them just in case. Gave the larger sheep — Aretha and Anisette — 1.5cc and the rest of the girls 1.0cc. Beautiful day with a mid-day temperature of 44°F (6.6°C)

Administered deworming shots to the llamas. Six CCs to Kuzco and four to Guinness. Picked up 41 bales of second cut hay from Bruce Post. Cold overnight and a frosty morning.

Dr. Barry visited and we wormed all the animals and gave the sheep their rabies vaccination. Suggested worming the llamas once a month from May to December and that the sheep are a little skinny. Sunny and cool. 50s.
