He looked like Gene Simmons of Kiss. I told my friends who I thought I saw and then overheard the woman in the seat behind mine say she saw Gene Simmons of Kiss. It was Gene Simmons sans make-up. Who knew you were a Pavarotti fan! I met Paul Weller once (you know how much I love him!) in Hyde Park in London as I was coming back from rowing on the river and he was just going out. All I could manage to blurt out was "hi Paul, loved the concert the other day. Can I have your autograph?" That is so cool. Who knew you were a Pavarotti fan!

It's always cool to meet people you admire and have them just be cool people. I've had similar experiences with a few bands where I met them before/after the show and didn't even realize who they were for a moment because they ere just being normal, cool people. (^_^) (in my defence, at least one band wears a bunch of make-up so was harder to recognize. No, not Kiss.) Wow, that just totally rocks.
